Remarkable

It’s remarkable
Unimaginable
Unthinkable
That He would love me
The one who makes the sun to rise
He makes the stars to shine
He makes the wind to blow
He makes the oceans roar
He paints the sky at night
The lightning flashes bright
The flowers bloom with glee
Nurtured by honey bees
I cannot think why He
Would do all this for me

Way back when the earth began, God thought of me. First He made the Light. Not the stars, sun and moon mind you. They came a few days later. The Light he first spoke into existence was that light that dispels the darkness of the soul. It shines into every nook and cranny to rid evil from our lives and instill good. The Light guides our path, leading us to His truth and His way. This Light is always shining. The problem is that we have doors in our soul. Some doors we will open, some we will not. These doors keep the light out. He will knock at our door to come in and shine that Light, but we often refuse. He could just knock down that door and force the Light in, but He is meek and lowly, He is gentle and merciful.

After He made the Light, he made all the rest of nature so it was there to sustain me. To comfort me. To provide for me. Why did He do all this? Because He loved me and wanted to show His love. He shows His love to us every day, and all he asks is that we let the Light in. He stands at the door knocking. Will you let the Light in?

1 John 1:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

You know what got me about the creation story. Everything God made he said it was “good.” When He made man he said, “very good.” Then he wanted to destroy man. If that does not show us how much he loves us nothing will, as we are still here! Great post as always and God Bless, SR
