Jesus Christ is Lord

Songs of praise are in the air
Birds are singing everywhere
Sun arrives with golden flare
Jesus Christ is Lord
 
Earth and sky reflect His might
Clouds produce a glorious sight
Shadows shorten in His light
Jesus Christ is Lord
 
Praise be to the God of Heaven, seated on the throne
He has given us His son, we have called Him Lord.
Loud Hosannas ring toward heaven, hallelujahs raised
He is worthy of our worship, worthy of our praise
 
Blind men once again can see
Lame men rise and use their feet
Demons scream and then they flee
Jesus Christ is Lord
 
He’s forgiven all my sin
Made me pure and whole within
Now to heav’n I enter in
Jesus Christ is Lord
 
Praise be to the God of Heaven, seated on the throne

Set Free

I fell into the devil’s snare and tried hard to get out
I fought and clawed and kicked real hard I even tried to shout
But no one on this earth could comea nd free me from this trap
I finally succumbed to him and thought my life would pass
 
I found myself get comfortable in all the evil ways
But deep inside I knew my life was doomed to be a waste
I tried to medicate my mind and drink myself to joy
But all I did was deeper go into this sin and toil
 
Then one day someone told me of a man from long ago
Who came to set us free from sin so we could be made whole
I could not believe that such a simple step would pay
But nonetheless I called to Him and this is what I said
 
“Dear Jesus, I was told one day that you’d forgive my sins
That you died on a cross that day to come and live within
I am weak and tired Lord of fighting off this load
So won’t you please forgive me now and I will make you Lord”.
 
Then suddenly the pain was gone, I felt a sweet release
I knew that something changed in me because I now had peace
The drink and drugs were gone and now I only wanted Him
Because He rescued me that day and took away my sin
 
How wonderful is Jesus to all who call on Him
He’ll come and make you whole again and give you peace within
If you don’t know the Savior then why not pray my prayer
And you can be made whole again.
Please pray this prayer today?

Monday morning, waking up
I rise from off my bed
And realize quite instantly
That I am not dead
So I shake my head real slowly
From side to side it flows
And a smile comes upon my face
It’s time to praise the Lord
I praise Him that He gives me breath
To wake me up this day
I praise Him that my eyes still work
To see me on my way
I praise Him that I hear the sounds
That filter through my room
I praise Him that He’s there with me
That I am not alone
I praise Him that my arms and hands
Still have the strength to hold
I praise Him that my legs will work
To take me where untold
I praise Him that I feel His love
Still shining from above
I praise Him that His spirit
Still comes in like a dove
And now, 5 minutes in the day
I know His wondrous grace
Has kept me through the night again
So I can praise His name

Who helps the Robin learn to fly?
Who brings the sun in perfect time?
Only the God I serve.

Who makes the blind man see again?
Who makes the wind and drops the rain?
Who makes the sea calm by His name?
Only the God I serve

Who raised a dead man back to life?
Who gives me peace instead of strife?
Who  takes my wrongs and makes me right?
Only the God I serve.

Who took my sin away from me?
Who died that I could be set free?
Who gives me life eternally?
Only the God I serve

He is Jesus, Lord of Lords
He us Jesus, whom I adore
Jesus, the one who makes me whole
I praise his name forevermore

Early morning, waiting
To hear the voice of God
Calling to me deep within my heart
Listn’ing so intently
For the Spirit’s call
Suddenly His voice comes like a shout

I am here to heal you
Lay your burdens down
Let me touch you where it hurts the most
I am here to save you
Give me everything
Let me hold you in my loving arms

I hear Him calling, longing
To draw me close to Him
So he can speak so gently in my ear
I slowly turn to greet Him
Into my life this day
And then I hear Him speak some words of cheer

I am hear to rescue
Take you from your trials
Bring you into freedom from your flesh
Let me overwhelm you
Fill you with my grace
Give you faith to overcome your fears

Finally I yield to Him
Peace does flood my soul
The world and all it’s trials fades away
I’m leaning on His bosom
He holds me in His arms
I’m ready to go out and face the day

For He has come and spoken
Truth into my life
That He is with every where I go
And I can rest assured
That He is always mine
And in His loving hands I find my home.

My heart was so empty
Out here in this world
I felt lost and lonely
My life was a whirl
Then one day I listened
He was calling to me
I didn’t know Jesus
But He sure knew me
 
He told me He loved me
I thought how could He
Love someone so dirty
So full of disease
Then I read His story
Of mercy and grace
I knelt down before Him
Tears ran down my face.
 
Dear Lord I need you

Show me your sweet mercy
Give me a new start
You took my transgressions

I will exalt the name of Jesus
Tell of His wondrous love for me
How He left His home in heaven
To come and die for me

I can’t wait to get to heaven where I’ll see His face
No more pain and no more sorrow in that holy place
I will realize I got there only by His grace
