Soul’s Consolation

I will rest in you

Whenever I am weary

I will rest in you

Whenever life gets hard

And when I am afraid

I’ll call upon your mercy

Every single day

 

You are my soul’s inspiration

You are a song to my heart

Jesus I’m in love with you

For you are so amazing

Stronger every day

When I am feeling lonely

When trials seem so hard

And when I get dismayed

Son of God

Jesus was born in a Manger
To most he was just a stranger
But shepherds bowed down
And kings came to town
To worship him feeling no danger

He grew up a carpenters son
No one thought he was anyone
The wise men asked questions
He answered the best ones
Astonishing them one by one

Baptist in the river Jordan
A dove descended upon Him
The heavens spoke out
With an audible shout
This is my Son, I adore Him

He ministered healing for all
That brought people to Him from afar
He was healing the deaf
And raising the dead
And making the lame man to walk

But the religious ones of that day
Thought that He would turn men from their way
So the plotted against Him
Caused the people to curse Him
As the shouted to kill Him one day

They beat Him and His flesh was torn
Then they crowned Him with braids of thorns
He carried His cross
To a great hill of loss
And there He was quite unadorned

He cried Father forgive all of them
Words that ripped through the heart of men
He bowed down His head
By himself He was dead
He provided the ransom for all time

For this little child born in the hay
Brought Salvation to all that day
He’s the Great I AM
And the Son of Man
All you must do is love Him today

Bow your head and ask His forgiveness
He will fill you with righteousness
And soon you will see
Your home eternally
In heaven adoring His holiness

What a Wonder

Jesus what a wonder you are
You are there in my deepest of times
Holding on with your sheltering arms
Loving me in the midst of despair

Jesus what a healer you are
You see all of my weakness and need
And you come to heal all my disease
Giving life as I sense you are near

I lift up my voice to you
Lift up my hands to you
Praising with all my heart
Worshipping your sweet grace
Resting in your embrace
Praising with all of my heart
Wonderful Lord.

Jesus what a Savior you are
Taking my sin and my shame
Giving me power through your name
Living right here in my heart

Jesus what a great friend you are
Bringing me joy and sweet peace
Making my life so complete
Letting me rest in your arms

I lift up my voice to you
Lift up my hands to you
Praising with all my heart
Worshipping your sweet grace

The Lord is my Shepherd
He has my heart
And when times are tough
I shall not want
He makes me to lie down
In pastures green
And leads me beside
The still waters serene

He restores my soul
When I’m in a test
And He leads me
Into righteousness
Yea though I walk
Through shadows dark
I have no fear
For your my rock

Your rod and staff
Bring comfort sweet
For I know that you
Are there with me
You anoint my head
With set perfume
My  life us full
With more of you

Surely goodness
Lights my path
And mercy always
Has my back
And I will dwell
Eternally
In heavens realm
A home for me.

I Got This

When my back’s against the wall
And I’m feeling mighty small
I can hear my Savior call
I got this!

When my health is going down
And I’m feeling all alone
The Lord is on the phone
I got this

You’re in my hand, so do not fear
I have you right where you should be
Just remember in the times
That you feel you’ll fall behind
You just have to look to me
I got this

When I seem so out of touch
And I feel that it’s too much
There’s the sound of His sweet voice
I got this

So I’ll just praise Hm day by day
Because I know He’s here to stay
He carries me along the way
And then I hear Him say

I Love Creation

I love to watch the flowers bloom
Love to see the crescent moon
Love to hear the cooing loon
I love creation

I love to watch the sun rising
Love to see the rain in spring
Love to hear the song bird sing
I love creation

All of this earth declares the glory of the Lord most high
Singing and praising Him every moment as time just passes by
Beautiful creation
Beautiful Lord

I love to watch the sunset glow
Love to see the clouds hang low
Love to hear the river flow
I love creation

I love to watch the birds in flight
Love to see the stars at night
Love to hear the wind speed high
I love creation

Sing His praise throughout the land
See the beauty of His plan

Came to set the captives free
Came to give the blind man His vision
Came for you and me

Praise the Lord, He walked on the water
Came to raise the dead to life
Came to make the leper my brother
Came for you and me

Let us rejoice and sing Hallelujah
Let us shout His praise aloud
Loud Hosanna ring in the heavens
Praise Him with a shout

Praise the Lord, He fed the five thousand
Came to call His children home
Came to the cry of the orphan
Came for you and me

Praise the Lord, He brought my salvation
Came to die upon a tree
Came to bring new hope to the nation’s
Came for you and me

My Prayer

Bowing before you, down on my knees
Humbly I cry out in prayer
I know you meet all me desperate needs
I know that you are there
 
Waiting before your glorious throne
Hands held in prayerful pose
I ask to feel your sweet touch overflow
To my body, my mind and my soul
 
This is my prayer, This is me plea
I come before you down on my knees
Waiting and watching, hoping you’ll see
How much I need you.
How much I need you, Lord
 
Your Spirit awakens my soul deep within
My heart feels your presence again
My faith is uplifted, I’,m free from my sin
My body no longer in pain
 
I praise you Lord, for hearing my prayer
Answering softly, meeting my need
I praise you Lord, I know you will hear
Every word, every plea
 
This is my prayer, This is me plea
I come before you down on my knees
Waiting and watching, hoping you’ll see

The Word Speaks

“Who are you Lord?” I asked Him one day

After turning my head and losing my way

I feel like I’ve wondered too far astray

And now I’m not sure who you are

 

I waited to hear His voice speak in my ear

To bring some sweet words of hope and good cheer

But the longer I waited to more that I feared

I had wandered off too far away

 

I walked through the house and I spotted His book

It was covered in dust and had been overlooked

I opened the pages and soon my heart shook

At the words that jumped out at my eyes

 

“I am the Lord of mercy and grace

I suffer long for those seeking my face

I forgive sins and put life in their place

Come to me just as you are”

 

I knew right there He was speaking to me

So once again I fell down on my knees

Saying Father forgive and sanctify me

And then He took me in His arms

 

My friends If you’re feeling the Lord’s out of reach

And you can’t hear His voice, or feel His sweet peace

Just look to His word and the Bible will speak

And give you the comfort you need

For all He’s done

He so loved the world

That He gave us His Son

I’m gonna praise Him,

He forgave my sins

Died upon a cross

To bring me peace within

 

I’m gonna praise Him

He gives victory

Overcame the enemy

For you and me

Im gonna praise Him

Every single day

I was wand’ring off

And He showed me the way

 

So I will lift up my voice

To the Lord of Lords

I will lift up my hands

To the King of Kings

I will lift up my heart

To the Holy one

Jesus my everything

 

I’m gonna praise Him

He prepares a home

He has gone before me

And I’ll never roam

I’m gonna praise Him

For eternity

I’ll be up in Heaven

He’ll be there with me

 

So I will lift up my voice

To the Lord of Lords

I will lift up my hands

To the King of Kings

I will lift up my heart

To the Holy one

Jesus my everything

 

Messiah, Savior

Redeemer, Healer

Counselor, Comfort and Friend

Mighty and Powerful

God only wise

Jesus, the crucified Lamb

Born for me, lived for me

Died for me, rose for me

Jesus, the great I AM!
